PROBLEM DELL

I just instal an ATX Reset Adapter on a Dell Vosotro 230s with a 250w ATX Power Supply, the PC works fine but when i "reset" in the ADAPTER the computer shuts down and i have to push the power button to power up the  computer, any ideas whats its wrong?

Check the BIOS settings for the options when the power is lost. The ATX Reset Adapter interrupts the Power Good signal which is typically connected to the reset circuit on the motherboard. Maybe your Dell machine sees this as a complete power loss.

In the BIOS the option is usually listed as what should be done when power is lost. Typically the options will be something like: restart - resume last state - stay powered off. Set the option to resume or restart.
